1. The low water resistance module structure has lower water resistance than traditional module structures, and the water level changes before and after disinfection are smaller.

One of the core components of the UV disinfection system is the UV sterilization lamp tube. The UV lamp tube used by our company is a first-line brand of low-pressure high-strength mercury amalgam UV lamp tube, installed in a quartz sleeve on the module, parallel or perpendicular to the direction of water flow. The effective working life of the lamp tube is 9000-12000 hours, and the power of a single lamp tube can reach 250-325W (imported lightsources sterilization lamps are 250W and 320W models, Philips sterilization lamps are 325W models). Customers can choose according to their needs.

The quartz tube is installed on the module bracket, with a UVC transmittance greater than or equal to 85%. One end of the quartz tube is a closed end and the other end is an open end. Through multiple sealing designs, the protection level is IP68, effectively preventing water from penetrating into the quartz tube and affecting the normal operation of the UV lamp. Using high transmittance (UVT) quartz tubing: High quality quartz tubing is selected to ensure excellent UV penetration and high-intensity UV output (quartz tubing uses Fudong Zhengyou or Pacific brand).
Electronic ballast module
The electronic ballast is another core component of the entire system, and the prominent advantage of the UV disinfection system is the stability of the electronic ballast. The electronic ballasts all use preheating type that matches the ultraviolet sterilization lamp, with built-in fault output and overcurrent protection functions, effectively increasing the service life of the ultraviolet sterilization lamp. The electronic ballast is installed inside the ballast cabinet or module chassis. Made of high-quality corrosion-resistant stainless steel material -304, the lamp tube and signal cable are sealed inside the disinfection module and will not be exposed to sewage and ultraviolet light. Ballast cabinet: The cabinet has a protection level of IP55 and is equipped with a cooling device (forced air cooling or air conditioning cooling) and an air filtration device to prevent dust and humid outside air from entering, ensuring stable operation of the electronic ballast (the electronic ballast is customized from Kvyi Optoelectronics or Philips brands).
The electronic ballast module is connected to the disinfection lamp module through a connector plug, and the outer wall of the connecting wire is made of anti-corrosion and UV resistant materials.
Automatic Control Center
The control system implements all parameters and controls through the human-machine interface, such as turning on/off disinfection equipment, fault inquiry, lamp running time, UV lamp working status, cleaning interval time, and manual cleaning function parameter settings, etc., to facilitate the operator's monitoring of the operation of the UV disinfection system and provide effective sterilization dosage for the disinfection process.

The installation of the ultraviolet probe underwater is convenient for monitoring the scaling situation of the quartz tube and the intensity changes of the ultraviolet lamp.
Automatic Cleaning System
The effectiveness of UV disinfection is often greatly affected by the scaling on the surface of quartz sleeves, resulting in a significant decrease in UV intensity.
The disinfection equipment comes with a built-in cleaning system. This cleaning technology can automatically clean the surface of the casing online within any set time without affecting the operation of the equipment, with high efficiency and low friction without jamming, providing stable and efficient sterilization effect for the UV disinfection system.
The automatic cleaning system is driven by compressed air and linked with the ultraviolet light intensity monitoring device for automatic cleaning, and can easily switch between manual/automatic working states.
Water level control system for open channel ultraviolet sterilization system
1. Water level sensor
The water level sensor is an effective and necessary means of self-protection for the lamp tube. Due to its high power, ultraviolet sterilization lamps must be naturally cooled by sewage. When exposed to air for a long time and lit up, the lamp may burn out due to insufficient heat dissipation. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that the water level in the open channel can submerge all the lamps. However, the ultraviolet transmittance in sewage is low, and when the water level is too high, it can lead to unsatisfactory disinfection effect of the surface water layer. Therefore, the water level in the open channel cannot be too high. The water level sensor measures the water level value in the open channel online, ensuring that the water level in the channel remains within the designed range. When the water level in the open channel exceeds the set water level for a long time, it can automatically send an alarm to the control system and turn off the light tube.
2. Open channel water level control:
1. Method: Non powered water level control overflow dam gate.
2. Material: 304 stainless steel or completed by civil engineering.
3. Water outlet method: The weir gate adopts top water outlet (bottom water outlet is used for non powered water level control overflow weir gate) to ensure a stable water level change in the open channel. Keep all the lamps submerged within this range of change.
4. Advantages: High precision (when the flow rate changes to 1.30, the water level fluctuation range is less than ± 5cm), fast response, simple structure, easy installation, suitable for occasions with large flow rate changes, no complex mechanical transmission device, no need for external power and intervention, and the entire process is fully automatically adjusted.
